From Demography to Population Growth
My research combines fieldwork and experiments to estimate demographic vital rates (i.e., survival, growth, and fecundity), their uncertainty, and how these rates vary with relevant abiotic and biotic factors. My research also develops population models that use these estimates to project population growth across space and time.
Sustainable Managed Ecosystems
My research determines how reptile and amphibian populations respond to managed ecosystems to develop practices that minimizes disturbances to natural populations while still allowing for sustainable yield and non-commodity values for land managers.
